Places to find Unico items:
eBay
- eBay is probably one of the biggest places to find anything Unico. There are fanmade items and every now and then you'll find Japanese items.
CD Japan
- CD Japan sells the Japanese DVDs for the first and second movie as well as the pilot. The pilot comes with a short animation about Hello Kitty and Mimmy having fun with their umbrellas. When searching for the pilot, type in "yuniko" instead of "unico." Also look for the Tezuka Osamu calendars which usually feature Unico and other characters.
- And if you like "Do Re Mi Fa - Lullaby" from the second Unico movie, CDJapan has Shiratori Emiko's Golden Best CD which features all her popular songs from the 80's including this wonderful Unico song. You an find it here.
StrapYa.com
- This store sells nothing but phone straps but they have the Tezuka Moderno style which also included Unico and many other characters (Tetsuwan Atom, Black Jack, etc).
YesAsia.com
- Currently has all 3 volumes of the Pikka Pika Comics version of Unico. When you search for Unico you must type "yuniko" and be in the 'Comics' tab. All three books are in Japanese only.
JPQueen
- This store sells nothing but Japanese doujinshi (fan comics), art books, manga, and other books. Every now and then they will have Unico manga up for sale and it's usually one of the black and white ones published in 1983.
Anime Gamers
- This store was selling one of the Unico plushies. They are now sold out.
Tezuka World e-Gift Shop
- This is actually a Japanese site that does not ship to America or anywhere else. You can get an idea of what Unico items there are though.
Amazon
- Another place to possibly find Unico items. You'll most likely find the VHS or the fanmade/bootleg DVDs.
